  1. Also, along the same lines as make your sign simple with a powerful message – make your sign easily readable. Choose words, colors, type, etc that can be glanced at and understood. White on yellow or vice versa for example is probably not a good idea. Use common sense. These are great points and will produce a very effective political yard sign.
